Pablo is a proud Mexican and a committed foreign policy professional based in Washington, DC. He earned his degree in International Relations from American University in December 2024 and has since built a career focused on immigration, diplomacy, and community-building.
Currently, Pablo works as a Visa and Immigration Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank, where he advises employees on U.S. immigration compliance and collaborates with the State Department and USCIS on visa and residency matters. He previously served at the Embassy of Mexico in the United States, further deepening his understanding of bilateral cooperation and international mobility.
Outside of his professional role, Pablo serves as Events Director at the Mexican Professionals Network (MXDC), a non-profit organization that celebrates Mexican culture and fosters meaningful connections among Mexican professionals in the DC area.
As someone who lives in the U.S. as a foreign national, Pablo understands firsthand what it means to adapt to a new country—navigating its systems, culture, and opportunities. His perspective is deeply influenced by his grandparents’ journey: Holocaust survivors who escaped Soviet control and rebuilt their lives in Mexico. Their resilience instilled in him a deep respect for national identity, the value of legal immigration, and the importance of staying rooted in one’s culture while fully embracing new experiences.
